7+3 Regimen
- “7” – refers to Cytarabine (Ara-C) given daily for 7 days
- “3” – refers to Anthracycline (typically daunorubicin or idarubicin) given daily for 3 days

Contraindications:
Dosing :
- Typically, daunorubicin and cytarabine are both started on the same day. Daunorubicin ends when the third dose is given on Day 3. Cytarabine is infused continuously for 168 hours (Days 1 through 7).
- Daunorubicin is an intravenous infusion (I.V.) given over three hours once daily on Days 1, 2, and 3
- Cytarabine is given continuous I.V. over 24 hours on Days 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7
