C - Cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan)
V - Vincristine 
A - Adriamycin (doxorubicin) 
D - Dexamethasone

Indications :

• Treatment of Multiple Myeloma
• Treatment of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) using HyperCVAD
  • Hyper = Hyperfractionated = splitting up one large daily dose of chemotherapy into multiple smaller doses to expose cancer cells to chemotherapy over a longer period of time with the hopes of killing a greater percentage of them. Not all chemotherapy medicines can be hyperfractionated because the side effects may too severe to tolerate.
