Trigeminal Neuralgia
Presentation :
- Brief paroxysms of unilateral lancinating pain, most often in the V2 or V3 distribution of the trigeminal nerve, often triggered by light touch of the affected area
Pathophysiology :
Diagnostic Testing:
- Obtain an MRI to exclude intracranial lesions and MS
Treatment :
- Carbamazepine for treatment
